Great game against SFA!! The Cats are certainly looking like the top team in the Sky and should jump in the I-AA standings.

I bet you are kicking yourself for going fishing instead of going to the game.

Thanks, Meat.
You are a class act; a rarity from Grizville as you've so bluntly shown over on the other site.
It's amazing to me the reaction of the 2 boards following our IA losses. We played an (unexpectedly) solid game vs OSU and were sky-high as a result. The Griz get thumped by UO the way MOST true football analysts predicted and the egrizzers are tearing each other to shreds.
Grizlaw, ever the voice of reason, echoes my sentiments regarding the Griz after 2 games: NO ONE has a clue where that team will truly end up. I'm amazed that so many over there are dooming the Griz after getting beat AS THEY SHOULD HAVE by a quality IA team. Those that expected the Griz to "hang" better with the Ducks are the worst of the maroon-colored glasses crowd.
Offensively, I think the Griz are not nearly as good as usual and I don't think a QB can get significantly better as a season wears on; if JW is throwing bad passes to open receivers, he's not going to miraculously improve that part of his game. He can, however, improve his reads and his ability to look off defenders and gain better timing with his receivers; the question is will he?
I know griz fans are sky high on their D but I think the jury is still out on that crew. Are they the strength of the team? Yes. Can they stop teams like ISU, PSU, MSU, and EWU? I think it's too early to tell. At this point, I do think they'll struggle to yield less than 30 points/game against those teams. That may change over the next few weeks; the Griz D SHOULD dominate your next 2 opponents, if they're as good as they think.

Caught two beautiful rainbows. Of course we only got one into the boat. The other was bending my pole so much I thougt it was going to break. No kidding, it was easily 5-6 pounds as we got a good look at it right as the net person (a rookie) missed it and the hook came up. This is a fish story that will be told for many years. Of course the size and weight will increase as the years go by.
A great two days of camping and fishing vs. one football game in Bozeman.....hmmmmm. By the way, nice talking to you Saturday night. You still drunk?
El Gato, yeah, I hate those fairweather fans that seem to give up after one loss. Not only was it one loss, but against a team that we all knew would thump us anyway.

Wow Meat, after only 2 days, the fish grew to be 5-6 pounds. If you take that exponential rate of growth and try to tell the tale a week from now, the fish will have almost caught you and you just barely escaped the "Trout of Doom".
Just playin, hope you had fun.
