Looks like we will have a great match up. NDSU will also face NW State and Southern Illinois this year too. Not an easy year for the Bison. The first tough one will be on Sept. 10 against NW State and the game will be played in Louisiana.....

They have a great defense. Good luck!

One of my favorite college memories was getting off the plane in Bozeman, coming back from the 84 NC game in Charleston. A huge banner on the wall in the airport tells you all you need to know about preseason rankings:

THEY PICKED US LAST; THEY PISSED US OFF!!!
NOW WE'RE #1!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, WYO what are you all anticipating your strengths and weaknesses this fall? I really don't know a thing about NDSU's team other than I you should be pretty tough.

Yeah, their defense is a monster, alright. They held the Griz to 56 points in the playoffs last year. ;)

Teams don't play like them normal selves at WA-Griz, you know that Law. :)

They were #1 all year last year I believe.

I would have to say that the biggest question mark for the Bison will be the O line. That is where we lost the most. It sounds like the NW State D will really give the O line a test on Sept. 10th. If the Bison win that one at NW State we will know that all is well on the O line.

I know, Celt; I was just razzin' you. :)

I'm sure NWS is tougher than they looked on that day. They've played us pretty tough in Missoula in prior years...

For once, you bring up a good point. But didn't Hilliard rank up the yards against them though?

I just don't think people understand how uptempo the Big Sky really is.

Northwestern State didn't lose at home last year and should have got a first round home game. Teams that play there better beware.
