I know its painful to look back Yaeger, NDSU team last year is no way near the team they are this year. PLUS .. MSU would spank Cal Poly now. We almost beat them when our offense was terrible earlier in the year. Just like the Griz will spank Cal Poly when/if they play them in the playoffs.

They Griz fan asked how you can blow a 21 point lead, I just gave him an answer (NDSU) :)

Off the topic Wildrat. My brother in law wants to know if the cats have a bar in Billings... I couldn't think of any (I'm sure there must be one) Figure you would know.

Good Question

1) Definately not the Winners Circle (GRIZ BAR THROUGH AND THROUGH). (I always nickname it the LOSERS SQUARE :)).

2) The most Cats fans I have ever seen for Cat/Griz has been at the Grandstand bar/casino in Billings. I haven't been there this year, but last year there were quite a few Cats fans on average each and every week. So that would be a good bet to find some probably. He may also check the SPORTSPAGE, but not positive on that one.

Other than that, pretty much all Griz bars it seems.

I'm trying to get a group together here in Billings too to watch it. Haven't decided on the final spot yet, but will in the next day or so. He's welcome to watch it with us somewhere if he wants to? I can keep you posted.

I will be in Miisoula, but my suggestion would be the Winners Circle. Full of Griz fans and that could make it very interesting. :D

Cats 21 - 17, holding the griz on 4 downs inside the 20 to end the game.

What, and EWU isn't a good team? All you did was defend how good NDSU is, EWU is equally good if not better.

Did I miss something jagur? Because I am pretty sure that Cal Poly beat NDSU this year. Cal Poly has lost two games, to Eastern and to UC Davis.

There seems to be some confusion here. This is how your game ended last week.

Bozo: You're right. I had the Cal Davis game and Cal Poly game switched around. As explained to me at lunch by a NDSU man who takes offense at the cat bashing of his team. He vows revenge next year in Bozeman.

Back to a prediction -

if we can find a way to not let Lex and Co. run all over us I think the odds of our offense outscoring theirs are pretty good. Neither defense has been all that impressive so I expect a shootout. Give the griz the edge on special teams and the home field. Unless one team dies due to turnovers I see this being another cardiac game.

My heart says Cats 41 Griz 37
My head says Griz 41 Cats 37

Boy I hope my heart is right.

My prediction: (from egriz)

Bobcats 79
grizzlies 77

Quadruple Overtime*

*After the first 2 OT's, each team MUST go for the 2 point conversion; both succeed in OT #3, but after scoring a TD in OT #4, the griz attempt at a 2 point conversion fails as Monte, devastated by Capitol One's decision to block griz fans from cheating, leaps to his death from a rail above the endzone, inadvertantly knocking away ochs pass to talmage, who is standing otherwise all alone in the endzone.

Grizzlies: 2-5 when it matters most

Also aren't you guys down to two freshman corners? I wouldn't be ripping on our pass D if thats the case.

PS - How DO you blow a 21 point lead?
Yes, how do you blow a 21 point lead to a Div II school? NDSU ring any bells? :)
Yes it does. Blowing a 21 point lead though is much better than needing 15 more when the final whistle blows.....ala Central Washington? You could ask Carroll, they had no problem...

Call it a draw ?

So, in tradition of the last two years, and since the friz won't be hosting any playoff games, if we win, DO THE GOALPOSTS FALL? Come on who's with me?

You are probably right jagur1. I assume you are referring to the fact of you not hosting a playoff game. I was surprised you did last year but won't be this year under similar circumstances if we win on Saturday.
