Put BAUMAN back in
Why? W baby, on the road against a BSC opponent! 1 TD passing, 1 TD running, I INT, and several dropped passes. He is not the problem in this game, play calling in the 4th was more of an issue, not QB play!
Bauman didn’t throw those picks.
He also didnt complete many passes. Dirt balls or airmailed.
When you are tasked with managing the game that means not turning the ball over. I’d rather wait for a QB to develop who doesn’t make costly mistakes at critical points of the game.
He wasnt even managing. He stalled more drives than he helped.
2 drops stalled drives also
I was talking about Casey early in the year. I agree the drops didnt help Tucker at all.
Oh haha

Tucker played winning football other than the floater to Kassis. He made throws under pressure all night and had a rough 4th quarter and the playcalling did him no favors. What I don't understand is Matt going away from the ol' Travis Jonsen no-handoff keeper that gets good yards every play. We threw the ball way too much even if we had Aaron Rodgers back there in the 4th quarter.
Regardless....we get to go home winners for a big homecoming game against Sac State!
Well said Vim

If we want to rip Tucker, we should first chat about that shanked punt...which completely changed the game in my opinion. We pin them inside the 20 up 28-14, the game is completely different because of the clock and style of offense Poly plays. Then Tucker's pick was the cherry on top of the comeback.
But, again, despite all of that we found a way to win. I thought the defense showed a lot of guts with 5 minutes to go in the game. Derek Marks is an Avenger.

100 percent, it’s a no brainer at this point. If you give Rovig any pressure he makes mistakes and refuses to scan the field for guys running wide open, specifically the tight ends.
This is bs. He hit throws today with pressure in his face.
Must have missed the couple throws he hit with dudes right in his face.

I’m not saying CB is the answer but this competition shouldn’t be settled. Rovig doesn’t deserve to keep the starting job after the last 2 games.

I am baffled with Juco’s, drop downs and with the transfer portal that they could not find another option this off season at QB. I know the tried to get Gresch Jensen and others but still were not able to bring anyone in to compete.

I love the Bobcats and the Miami Hurricanes an unhealthy level

Tucker also threw a dagger to Kassis in the 1st quarter. Again, if you are going to comment on the bad, have to talk about the good.

I was iffy on going for it but figured we have to maximize our possessions. Then that throw made me say wow good call, great pass and helluva catch.

Exactly. Take away the INT and Rovig has a good game. Jonsen drops an easy ball where he would’ve had 20 yards easy. These type of games is what he needs to keep improving.
