Might be something...might be nothing but they just updated the roster on msubobcats.com for 2025 and removed all of the graduates and portal guys. However, one player was still on the roster and it was Jared White. Has Vigen possibly changed his policy on portal entries given the current wild west environment or has the brain child that is msubobcats.com roster management forgot to take Jared off the website? Anyway, he is on there listed as a junior.

Oh and Cole Sain also is still listed.

And they have White listed as a junior, which he would be next year. I'm leaning towards a mistake by whatever assistant is keeping up the roster, but it would be cool to have White back and get him some meaningful touches in a game.

I can confirm this as I usually work late and drive past his house most every night on my way home I see the flickering glow of Seinfeld reruns!

Yep. It's very clear reading this board that he and what little staff he has left hasn't been doing a thing since they flew back from Frisco. If he had been we most certainly would have read about it on Bobcat Nation.........

I watched the full rerun of the New Mexico game the other day. That must’ve been where Elliot got hurt. I don’t recall seeing him or hearing about him on the field after that game.
Too bad he decided not to stay., If I understand correctly, he didn’t see the field the rest of the year due to that injury whatever it was. Very good running back with very good vision

I think if MSU can work more RBs into the equation it will help out overall. Last year it was Humphrey and Jones seemingly getting 90% of the carries as Mellott was more cautious and Davis on the bench when games were still undecided or tight. If they can work Coon, ULH, and anyone else they may have into the mix it would be helpful JMHO.

I'm not 100% sure what the deal was the last two games but the RBs weren't effective. I don't think it was the OL (per VIM's title game analysis). I just think Jones and Humphrey were worn down a little maybe. So hard to say. I don't think MSU loses to NDSU in 2023 or 2024 if Davis plays. Those games were so close and where MSU lacked in the 2024 game, he may have been the difference. His reps early in the UM game were pivotal in the first drive and same thing vs UC Davis this year. Just seems when they have that one extra guy the odds of someone having the right juice increases in critical games.

I agree with Brooks Nuanez assessment when he and Colter talked about the game. For some reason Montana State chose to run right into the middle of North Dakota states defense and did very little on the outer edges. When they did it was largely successful.
Before the game I thought some of the chemistry was off on the sideline and on the field I mentioned something to my brother. Don’t know if Humphrey was still dinged up or if he was distracted and didn’t run like he normally is capable. But that was the case the last couple outings for him.

Some of them have announced offers on their social media platforms. I would think someone would be more than happy to announce a new commitment, maybe not all of them, but certainly at least one of them.

This is what coaches are talking about when they say they are always trying to recruit your replacement every year. However, Jared is a much more talented receiver than Scottre and needs to be used more in the passing game if you ask me. He made highlight reel catches in 2023 and was big in moments in 2024 in the passing game.

I still strongly feel like Adam and Julius are the one/two punch but Jared can absolutely fit right into the rotation and compete with Coon and Unterrio-Henley. Welcome back Jared!

Exactly! Ive always been interested in why they don't give players like him at least a few shots in some games. I know, practice is important, but didn't someone say that even Julius Davis is a better game player than he is in practice? Jared has shown a lot of skill in the pass game and it would be cool if they gave him more shots to show that skill.

Well good deal! So not that it matters really, but it seems Vigen has changed his perspective on letting guys come back. Guessing that might be on a case by case basis depending on attitude, etc. Either way I think it could be really beneficial for Jared to stay. He's a good player!
