Bobcat Fans,

It is homecoming week at MSU, we wanted to send a reminder to all of you about the rules and regulations for parking, tailgating, & RV’s.

We had an incident at the last game that we wanted to make sure you were all aware of and that hopefully won’t be repeated in the future. Unfortunately, we had a tailgate group drill and stake their tent into the new parking lots, damaging university property. As a result this account has had their tailgate pass pulled for the rest of the season and the individuals are responsible for paying to repair the damages.

Remember that there is absolutely no staking of any kind into the parking lot itself. Whether it’s tents, canopies or anything else absolutely no drilling or hammering stakes into the asphalt of any university parking lot.

If you have the need to secure anything, please bring your own weights to secure your items.

Please abide by the rules laid out and we can all have a great time at Bobcat Football games.
I know this person/group and couldn't believe the stupidity. One of them also made a huge fuss about it resulting in the police being called.

I’d never have guessed that could happen. All-time dumb move. Hoping they aren’t also alumni!

Not much more to tell. Liquored up, asked to leave due to the damage to the asphalt, threw around the money they've donated through the decades refusing to leave. Police came and they were invited not to return again this year, maybe ever.

And now everyone will feel the wrath as parking services will be picking nits over everything. Similar when Crowd Management Services started power tripping.

Is there more parking area now? Yes??? Is there also more Tailgate/RV parking area than before? If so there should be more porta potties. Looks like "they" don't want to spend the bucks to give the fans what they need.

On the east side, I feel like things are going pretty good. We have settled into our new spot, made friends with the new neighbors. They have a line of porta potties close to the student entrance as well as some in the back by where you enter the tailgates. Those that got spots around the perimeter are going to have some nice grass area to enjoy as the grass grows in.
