Well, we know NDSU isn't going to find much talent in North Dakota.

There are currently 21 players from North Dakota on the ndsu roster. 36 from Minnesota. 18 from Wisconsin.

How many players are there from Montana on the Montana State roster? Heck, MSU signed 13 Montana players in the last class alone. How did those Badlands football games turn out and why did they quit playing it? Montana has all sorts of college football talent and picking a player from here certainly isn't "slummin."

It would be fun if the Cats split the top 6 with out of state programs and the Griz didn’t land any.

The NDSU one is pretty frustrating. It’s one thing to lose a top MT recruit to the FBS…. But to NDSU?

To the Griz credit, Kash and Grady are pretty damn good and will likely vault into blue chip territory during their senior season. Dalton Noble could move as well. Kash and Grady are both legacies so I'm not surprised they committed but interesting trends are developing. We aren't a hidden state anymore. Matt Entz has been offering top Montana players for several years now and finally broke through. Will be a tougher fight for in-state talent for the foreseeable future.

It’s hard to blame an OL recruit from choosing them. They develop those guys into the league.

Glacier is absolutely stacked this year and their transfer QB from CA is just as good through 7 on 7 summer camps as Gage Sliter was last year.

Initial Thoughts: "Clark has a high ceiling as a long WR. Sellards has the right tools to be a starting offensive lineman at the next level. Rocco can dominate on the outside at WR. Hudson has that quick twitch at DT you want in a high school recruit and took 3rd in AA Hwt wresting. Hayden was the Cats first known offer and he absolutely dominates at the Class B level (he's a kid to watch this summer if he attends bigger camps). Mason dominates at 6-man but displays elite athleticism on offense and great physicality on defense to go along with a long frame."

Initial Thoughts: Grady is a Griz legacy as he's the son of Travis Walker and he's a blossoming athlete who should explode his senior season (should be a Blue Chip by the end of the fall season). Shawn hit the injury bug his junior season but he's a giant and people mover at guard. Dalton has the right size profile and could be developed at OL or DL. Kash is yet another playmaker from Glacier and is a kid who could push for blue-chip status with a great summer and fall season. Ethan has versatility as a TE or DE and may be the best pure DE in this class. Tavan is a big-bodied oline recruit to develop. Andrew reminds me a lot of Marcus Wehr (current Bobcat). Kaiden is raw but has the frame & athleticism to be dominant as a H-back, edge player, or inside backer. Isaac Keim had injuries his junior season but there is clear talent as a TE or anywhere on the DL. Austin (along with Kaiden) is looking like the best LB recruits the state has to offer in this class.

Initial Thoughts: Cole has the frame and length that should draw recruiting interest. Danny is raw as a TE but he is one to watch his senior season because the athleticism and frame are there (plus he already has an offer to Northern Colorado). Owen didn't get a chance to play his junior season but he's one of the top safeties in this class. Cohen was one of the better receivers in AA his junior season. Ethan can absolutely fly and dominated for the State C champ Belt Huskies. Maxx is another top wrestler at the AA level and should be circled as a DL prospect. Ryder flashed really good instincts as a nickel back last fall. Xavier didn't get the touches being behind Kade Boyd and Clay Oven last fall but he's slated for a big senior year and he's a good linebacker (which would likely be nickel at the next level). Kash Goicoechea steals the show but Alex Hausmann makes plenty of plays as well for the Wolfpack so he's a player to watch. Taylor flashed a really good skillset at WR and S last fall and he's long to boot. Manu doesn't have the weight you want to see but there were only a few that made more plays than Manu last year in AA. Isaac may be the best center prospect in this class and has a physical presence on defense. Tyce is a Lockwood High kid to circle due to his athleticism and length. Maddox has the frame to add a lot of weight as a lineman on either side of the ball. Kyle has some Ty Okada to his game. Lucas reminds me a lot of Tyler Flink (current Griz). Talen is the son of Chase and is still growing into his body prior to his senior season this fall.
