It's too late for this defense to become good... or even mediocre. They're just bad, at all three levels. I don't know what else has to happen before we just blow this whole thing up and start over. It starts with recruiting, and we've missed so many times recently on defensive players, we just don't have great talent. Not to say every player is devoid of talent, but across the board it's not there. Need to start winning some more recruiting battles especially in the secondary.

I'm officially on the "something has to be done" wagon with this defense. I don't know what that is, but what's going on week after week is unacceptable at this level of football. And its not even close. This year is worse than last on that side of the ball.

Well, if that's where you want to go, fine. The head coach ultimately is responsible for this mess, but neither he nor a late airplane are the reasons the defense is as horrible as it is.

Fire everyone. Defense sucks offense can't control the ball let alone complete a pass. We play good 3 games each year and everyone keeps that glimmer of hope and stands up for the team. I lost that glimmer at the beginning of last year and it's disappointing it's taken everyone else this long to finally realize the truth.
