With Sac State moving to FBS and UC Davis football seemingly on their way to the Mountain West sooner rather than later, I'd love to see the Big Sky dump all three California schools and go to a 9-team conference with a fully round robin 8-game conference schedule each year.

But I doubt that will happen and I think it's likely that one or both of the Utah schools is going to end up joining the Big Sky as a full member at some point to help replace Sac State's impending departure. I'm guessing the announcement Sam is teasing will be Sac State officially leaving the Big Sky after this season to go FBS.

I believe the FCS is going to a 12 game schedule in another year or two so a 10 team conference would be perfect.

That sounds fine as well, as long as the Big Sky teams were willing to go to a 9-game conference schedule. That would be somewhat imbalanced since teams would play either 5 home games and 4 road games per season or vice versa, but it would balance out in the long run even though half the teams would have an advantage in any individual season.

possible we find out june 5 or 16 as to "if" they get approved for waiver to go indi or maye a bid to MW or PAC 2.

Probably one of my favorite moments from last season. This is when the snow shower and wind started blowing through the stadium during Cat-gris and people started heading for cover. This song started playing and the remaining crowd and players started jumping up and down and that stopped the fan exodus.
