This one you're having trouble with so all type it twice maybe it will sink in.
Wrong. A renegotiation would be where you changed the terms of the contract, but still played them. You cancelled the game, and paid them off. That is not a renegotiation.

Tell yourself whatever you need to, if it helps reduce your lithium dosage. If you would actually read what I wrote, you would see that I never claimed UM called up UO and asked the Ducks if they would put them on their schedule. All I said was that UM let it be known that they were actively looking to drop one of their D-II games for a I-A game, if anyone was interested. Strangely, a school whose AD used to be the griz AD decided to pick them up. Weird...

I guess I'm not exactly sure how that is a fact? And yes, I have no problem comparing the ethics of Montana State University Athletics to that of UM. The terrible, horrible choices made by an assistant coach and a former player had absolutely nothing to do with the Athletics Administration at MSU - they were personal choices that ended up with both men in jail. UM has had their share of personal problems in the past too, so don't act too high and mighty over that. It certainly is nothing either school should be proud of. I am proud of the current MSU administration and their extremely high ethical standards. I don't think you could say the same for ol' Wayne.

CWU agreed not to come to Msla and play a football game and we agreed to pay them $50K. Sounds like a renegotiation to me. Spent an hour with our corporate counsel this morning, he thought it was a renegotiation too.

Who out of our AD office let it be known we were "actively" look to reschedule one our D-II games and who did we let it be known to? And I know you have your OPIOION, but please base it something.

I too, am very proud of our current administration. I was also very happy with ol' Wayne. Did he make mistakes? Sure, we all do. I voiced my feelings that I wanted Wayne to stay. And yes, I can say the Wayne’s ethical standards were as high as those down in Bozo.
And by the way, the ethical lapses in bozo go a lot farther than one coach and a former player.
The GRIZ, a quarter century of total football dominance over the cats.
