Hell ...they play some kind of LOVE song with a soft melody. Made me sick. Any adrenalin I had built up went straight to my kidneys!

I've been to every home game this year and Hell's Bells has been played immediately before kickoff every time. I'm with whoever said more AC/DC would be good.

I can't compete with some of your music know how. But, I would add the following comments:

1) I always loved it when they would put on the audio of the guy intensely saying "No one, and I mean NO ONE, comes into our house and pushes us around" just before the kickoff. I was already half cocked by then. But, when they would play this, I swear I left hand marks in the metal railing; absolutely sent me out of my mind :)

2) Eminem had a rap song from Eight Mile that went something like "If you had one chance, one opportunity.........." The words alone in this just get me juiced (plus it's kind of a pulsing haunting background beat).

Anyway, nice list everyone. I would think that perhaps msusportsinfo could turn this link over to the proper personnel.

Any/all AC/DC is appropriate but Thunderstruck needs to be near the top of the list.

Also, let's not forget Enter Sandman from Metallica. They used to play it at games and it always got the crowd jazzed up.

IF someone does actually know the gal or guy that is playing music this year have them get in touch with me. I have a friend that does the sound for all the PRCA rodeo's in WA and OR and have learned about an awesome program for playing music and sound effects during a sporting event. Last I knew MSU was simply using Winamp for their music and this program can make things 100 times better.

Totally agree! They used to play this one a lot, but I think it has kind of been replaced by the Fort Minor song. Still think it would be a good one as it gets me jacked too.

The above was posted in an earlier thread about the old PA guy...maybe bozbobcat can pass on the list of songs we have compiled. [-o<

Another one that I love and used to be played but I don't remember it recently is POD's Boom.

Sidenote, you gotta watch this video. Extreme ping-pong for the backdrop of this song is hilarious.

We need to start each game with a little 2-Pac. "Hit em up" would be my choice. You cannot listen to that song without getting pumped. However, the language is not condusive to a family atmosphere.

Yeah ... playing 2Pac might also offend the portion of the Bozeman crowd that is aligned with the East Coast rappers and is still mad as hell about Biggie.

Some people might find Eminem offensive. And by some people I mean me. And by offensive I mean that his music kind of sucks.

Well that song is about his tiff with Biggie so you're right.....probably not a good idea.

Admitedly, I don't know of any other Eminem songs. This is the only one I've heard and it's more the storyline and taking control of one's own destiny that I like.

I just can't figure you out Eggy :)

I figured this would come up. I don't talk to this person much, but I'll see what I can do to help and pass along our suggestions.

How about Ted Nugent's "Cat Scratch Fever"? Recognizable tune with a Cat theme.
