It wasn't Tommy after all. Okay, just kidding.
What a great story. What’s missing is how bad all the doubters that were Bobcat fans were about his ability and potential. Sure glad he fought it out.
A good lesson for all of us.
Congratulations kid but the door is just now open in the work is just beginning

It's like if someone should have started a thread about his ability as a freshman, and he was "TOO GOOD" to sit behind Mckay.

It's an awesome article!!! Does it seem like he's getting way more press than some of the other Bobcat players who've been drafted recently, or is that just my news feed? Haha! Pretty cool stuff!

I recall Troy getting a ton of media coverage once it became apparent that he was going to be drafted early on. Other than him, Tommy is definitely unique. Even Griz fans can't find anything bad to say about him.

I noticed that too! I think the Raiders fan base has increased by a ton, haha!

Other than those silly Grizzles that call him Trash Can Tommy...

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

I was thinking about this Prospect X article and Tommy’s parents having to sell their AC/DC tickets in Vegas to be home for the NFL draft. I thought I remembered a 2020 MSU video where Tommy had to identify a band and song that was being played, which turned out to be; AC/DC’s, ‘Back in Black,’ but he didn’t recognize it. I couldn’t find the video, it looks like MSU took it down, but I did find this post from Tommy. Kind of funny in retrospect.

Damn, that's some good memory! Very funny to look back and see that from before Tommy ever played a down for MSU.
