Hm..I don't have much to offer to this thread....but I did find something fairly amusing about it... On egriz.com, whenever there is a thread going about the Griz, and a cat poster posts something in it that may disagree with what the Griz fans are saying, that cat poster usually gets his head ripped off, and then the conversation ends up as a smack thread with Griz & cat fans yelling back and forth at eachother. Then GavinDonos shows up and says something along the lines of "Why do you griz fans always have to bring the cats into a thread that has nothing to do with the cats?" Not that he's wrong..that does happen a lot :P Sometimes I'm sure the cat fans are trying to start a argument, and sometimes they aren't (just like the Griz fans on here)

However..it seems to happen on here too a lot :P Even if what EastCoastGriz is saying is wrong, I don't think his intention was to start a pissing match between Griz & cat fans, or to hijack this thread. A simple "I think you are wrong, and here is why" would've most likely closed that part of the discussion, or maybe opened up further interesting discussion.

Anyway, I just thought that was kind of funny...I'll let you all get back to the pissing match :P

Why do you silly griz fans have to bring my name into every thread? We're talking about the cats and griz, stop changing the subject!

Thank you Dex,

All day I've been frustrated at how easily the griz are hijaking some potentially interesting threads and turning them into an, "Oh Yea! Well take that", exchange. I don't remember who origionally had the idea a couple of weeks (months) ago, but I'll repeat their thought and that was to ignore the griz attempts at hijacking the point of our posts.

The difference is that most of these MSU football players will be able to get on with new schools in time for their new schools spring practices. One of the existing QBs will not return.
mslacat - That remains to be seen. Only Hedrick has left so far, and he was a walkon anyway. So no impact to schollie numbers. As a comparative reference, the Griz only lost one player last year (Roeller) and only one the year before (Sampson) and both left of their own volition. We'll see if the numbers are significantly greater this year or not. I'll keep you posted. Jettison....that's so mechanical. Are you sure you're not an engineer? BTW I'll be headin' down to Spearfish for a college b-ball tourney on Thursday, so y'all be good while I'm gone.

The vast majority of my posts are looking for clarification from somebody's comment(s).

For example our level headed friend Bay Area Cat posted about Swogger "It really did make him sound like a prim Donna, even if he is not". I think I have read ever quote from Swogger and about Swogger over the past month and a half. Nothing I read anywhere suggested even slightly that he was anything but a highly respected person and athlete.

Example two is the recent quotes attributed to Coach Kramer about our potential players. In the years that Kramer has been your coach, I don’t recall one negative thing said about any player other than his own. I find it odd that all of a sudden he is out saying disparaging comments about other players. Am I the only one?

On this thread I posted a comment I had with my nephew. Seldom do we hear of a mass exodus from a team. It is normally one here, one there. I thought cat fans might be interested in what one person close to the program had stated.

My posts do not attack any players or coaches - never. Nor do I call posters names.

The GRIZ, a quarter century of total football dominance over the cats.
