One thing I haven’t seen mentioned, and granted I haven’t looked, their punter was incredible. Flipped the field consistently with great hang time. Limited Taco to 9 return yards and netted 47 yards per punt over 7 punts. Frokjer will get there, but we sure miss Hall.
He's got those sky high, non-returnable punts down. Outside of the muffed punt that we returned for the TD he was one of the best players on the field.
As far as our punt team goes, is Frokjer the problem or is it the protection team? Is he too slow or are they just not getting the job done blocking? I haven't watched closely enough to tell, it's just scary every time we have to punt. When he gets them off they generally look good though.
He stayed to win games and keep the program rolling. It has taken a step back. Now I will say this, we have a ton of young talent and with good coaching we will be really really good in a year or two. If he stays we win the championship just not this year. BUT he has to stay and keep that talent. Defense is really really good. We have playmakers on the offensive side, Oline took a step back this year
If Mastel gets back 100%, then we can move JT back to his natural position. Should really help the run game.

Still not a well timed screen or two and will we ever consistently attack the middle/seams of the field with the TE.
We fall to 9 or 10 in the rankings.
LOL, lose to the #2/3 team in double OT when they were favored (I thought differently, BTW) and you think that the Cats are going to fall behind UIW or Tarleton?
LOL, put down the bottle.
Cats don't drop at all.
Might drop to 5 or so.

We showed tonight that we are easily a top four team. You put that SDSU in Missoula tonight, SDSU wins by 20+. Yes we have things to fix and work on, but this team should not be taken lightly and we will be a contender come playoff time.
Do people also not realize that we have 8 seniors on the roster, compared to 26 last year. I knew there would be growing pains, especially with a new OC AND DC. Pulling off a 2 OT win would have been AWESOME, but the sky is not falling. You guys can save this quote but there's nobody in the conference that can hang before we have to go to that sh__hole out west. I expect us to run off 9 straight until then, and be squarely in the conversation for a high playoff seed.

What an intense game that was! Both teams displayed equal parts tremendous grit & frustrating sloppiness. Missed FG's, punting mishaps, lost fumbles...... everything one team did seemed to get matched by the other. Both teams defenses are way ahead of the offenses at this point which probably led to a lot of that sloppiness, but both teams did shoot themselves in the foot quite a bit as well. Game probably should've ended in an old school tie but coin-flip that is the OT rules just happened to land in our favor. Would not be surprised at all if we meet up again later this year.
Had a lot of really positive interactions with Jacks fans in our section. Refreshing compared to NDSU the last time they beat us in OT.

The Jacks fans I talked to were great, they had a great time and enjoyed the game regardless of the outcome. Fun people.
