Did anybody else have bad experiences with their fans? The few interactions I had were pretty crappy.

Ditto. Had some great interactions at the tailgates before and after the game. There was one guy a couple of rows behind us that was pretty chirpy at the start of the game, but most of it in good fun. He was weirdly not around in the second half...curious.

I respect Eck a lot but even more now. The reporters gave leading questions about the PF call, the targeting call, and the sack that knocked the QB out of the game and he shut em down on all of them. They were legit calls or no call and griping about them is only something a loser would do. I've often heard coaches make excuses, say it didn't look like the right call to them but Eck did nothing of the kind.

in his one presser I heard, I thought he whined a little. On PF said needed to see tape and QB was still moving. Targeting said hadn't seen a good view but player was good kid that wouldn't do it on purpose.

Glad to hear he changed his tune. Watched the replay tonight and they interviewed him at end of first quarter and he complained about late hit then as well as the post game

But, had the big run, targeting opened up playcalls vs starting on 5, late hit kept drive alive that probably would have been a punt. In that drive to get to 21 converted 2 or 3 big 3rd downs. Then the floodgates opened, got the pick, fg, then td after half, game over. That was a meaningful 6-8 minutes of game time

Yeah you really don't get a good look as a coach on the sidelines so he wasn't sure on Saturday night, but he made all the right comments in his Monday presser after watching the film.
