I’m with Troy! It’s all I get asked about when I moved to Spokane when I say I’m from Montana.

Troy might as well just take over practice the rest of the week.

Back in the 1980s, I was stationed in Illinois and was asked by a guy moving to Malmstrom if we had cable TV in Montana and if we still rode horses to school and work. I absolutely told him that I rode in a wagon to school and I had never heard of cable TV until I left Montana.

I've been watching practice, he's been barking orders and getting people lined up every down. he looks natural out there.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:58 pm

Troy has an unbelievable ability to process and retain information. Choate used to always refer to him as a "1-rep guy." He would need to do one rep and he'd remember it and do it right every time after that.luckyirishguy25 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 1:04 pmI've been watching practice, he's been barking orders and getting people lined up every down. he looks natural out there.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:58 pm

Re: Troy Freaking Andersen!
I had a guy last week from Indiana ask me up at red lodge mountain “how cool is it that you guys can make your own rules and regulate as you see fit”. I looked at him and asked him what he was talking about? He said “like Yellowstone, I just think it’s cool it’s like the Wild West out here”. I just rolled my eyes and said man if you honestly think Yellowstone is anything like Montana, there is no saving you. I wish I could say Im shocked how ignorant people are, but once I turn on the TV you see how ignorance and hypocrisy are the new normal.AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 1:02 pmBack in the 1980s, I was stationed in Illinois and was asked by a guy moving to Malmstrom if we had cable TV in Montana and if we still rode horses to school and work. I branded three of my family members last week, right before we got into a firefight with some kidnappers downtown. I don't expect any police to come asking questions.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 2:15 pmI had a guy last week from Indiana ask me up at red lodge mountain “how cool is it that you guys can make your own rules and regulate as you see fit”. On page two they talk about how Troy’s day went. Seems to be getting nothing but love.

For those not interested in dealing with the volume or formatting of information (and/or not in the habit of using ctrl + f):
Tuesday's practice report:
Tuesday's practice report:
Today's practice report just says:All Troy Andersen needed to do was prove he belonged among this group. And prove he belonged he did. Andersen was great in coverage, losing no ground in a variety of coverage installments. He was also great in run defense, moving forward and coming downhill, filling run fits very well.
The Senior Bowl can be a wake-up call for small-school players sometimes, but Troy Andersen has woken us up a bit. He was solid in coverage today and showed great physicality against the run.
