We had 2 timeouts to work with. No reason to have tried throwing that there. They cannot stop the run. It is absolutely bull-headed for Tyler Walker to be calling drop back passing at the moment.

Why? Great game and situation to work on the pass game.

They talked about wanting to get more guys in the game tonight to get them experience. It takes points being scored and a lead to be able to get to that point.

Well, we're up 14-0 and they haven't had a 1st down. Perhaps the coaches feel that's enough?

Fluke plays happen all the time. 14-7 is a blown assignment away. I love our defense but we aren't last year's Iowa defense. Very few teams are. Pedal to the metal until the game is comfortable and fluke plays don't matter.

Yep. What's disappointing about the game so far is that Utah Tech is a really bad team and we should have had the game all but decided by now. The second half should have belonged to our 2nd and 3rd teamers to get them some playing time and development. Now we need to get our starters on the field until we can put this thing away.

I watched a couple of scrimmage and I thought the little kid from Columbia Falls looked better than Sansted. Of course that was only 2 practices.

I love how Jones and Humphrey have stepped up at RB. But I do miss the fire and attitude Davis brings to the offensive side.
