Just for fun go to the Draft Tracker on NFL.com and in the Prospects menu select WR in the position filter and go to the second page. Check out who the last player is and then look 3 spots above him.

I know we have some offensive line guru’s on this site. How did MSU fair against Zabel in the Natty?
At the end of the game I noticed Grey Zabel made a point to find Kenneth Eiden on the Bobcat sideline. Perhaps one day we will know what transpired there. I know K E IV battled that guy with gusto all night long.
Seattle got a good pick and next starting tackle with that draft pick Thursday night.

The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
missoula....still just 20 miles from Montana.

Edit, I may have gotten my DE 's numbers mixed up, it might have been Brody, or maybe borh?
Zabel showed a lot of class by doing that, compared with the majority of byzin players who bolted to the end zone seats.

To all the Debbie’s out there:

Even better was on NFL network talking about QBs left, near end of segment Daniel Jeramiah said name to write down was Tommy Mellott, there was a little discussion and next segment they had film of Tommy. Pretty cool.

Well the first player out of the Big Sky Conf. got picked up in the draft with OG Jackson Slater from Sac state being picked in the 5th round by the Titans. Slater graded out just above Marcus Wehr so maybe just maybe Marcus is getting close to being picked yet in the 6th or 7th.

The Bengals at #193 could be a good chance for Tommy since he visited them. Barring a trade that's their only remaining pick as they don't have a 7th rounder.

I was thinking the same thing. Or one of the three picks the cowboys have in the 7th round as someone else mentioned.
Also, I noticed the falcons drafted a super fast sideline to sideline inside LB in the 1st round. Don't know what that might mean for Troy going into the upcoming season.

Predictions for this weekend.

3 Big Sky guys that will be drafted:
Jackson Slater
Marcus Wehr
Tommy Mellott

3 Big Sky guys I think have a outside shot at getting drafted:
Lan Larison
Efton Chism
Elijah Ponder

3 Big Sky guys that can get into camp and make a team:
Brody Grebe
Brendan Hall
Brandon Casey

I think Bergen could be a mini camp invite but his Pro Day didn't do him any favors and he's just not big enough or fast enough. He put up similar or worse numbers than Brody who is a lot, lot bigger.

Big Sky adjacent players:

Teddye Buchanan
Cam Skattabo
Sebastian Valdez (camp guy not drafted.... sigh)
I feel like I'm missing someone else here???
Marcus Harris formerly of Idaho is a Titan.

Was really thinking either Marcus or Tommy, or both, would get drafted. Guessing UDFA?

Yea ILB that can work as a speed rusher off the edge and can be used as an off ball drop back coverage player. Sounds like a similar type of player to me.

He’s not an inside backer.

Ok whatever you say. I was just reading the draft analysis on ESPN. But you probably know more than they do.
Pre-Draft Analysis
Walker is a hybrid front-seven defender who lines up at inside linebacker and edge.

He has played there some, but it’s not where he’s projected to play. It’s not going to impact Troy’s position.
