Vandals to name Kramer new head football coach
Sources have confirmed to Idaho's NewsChannel 7 that Montana State head coach Mike Kramer will be the next coach at the University of Idaho. Our sources say he will be introduced at a press conference in Moscow this afternoon. Former Vandal head coach Dennis Erickson left the UI this week to take the head coaching job at Arizona State. Stay with Idaho's NewsChannel 7 and KTVB.COM for more on this developing story.

Per Spokesman Review
The Spokane paper reports:
"Kramer said he will interview on the Moscow campus Thursday. Kramer said he'll be joined on the trip by his wife, Sandi, and their two daughters. "The whole family is going and hopefully we'll meet everybody in Moscow," he said. "The kids get a chance to see grandma and grandpa." With Smith pulling out last night I would not be surprised if the job is not offerred on Thursday if it hasn't been already. The Idaho AD who grow up in Butte sure sounds like on the TV and radio that Kramer is who he wants. It is time to get this over with. Both schools need to move forward. If Kramer were to leave would Bob Green at Tech have a chance at the MSU job? I got to know him through his 8 man football camps and he is a very colorful individual.

Colorful, yes, but i don't believe he's qualified. There are doubts as to whether or not Carroll College head coach Mike Van Diest would do well, and his resume is much more impressive than Green's.82Vandal wrote:The Spokane paper reports:
