Since I am not in Bozeman right now, Iam going online and finding as many businesses with websites or email and writing them telling them to support the Bobcats and welcome Furman

If you know anyone with a business marquee spread the word.
Well, I've been dealing on this today via phone. Here's what I know so far:

1) From airport to motel - I would like to thank Lt. Robinson for taking the time to visit with me even though I am not officially linked to MSU. She has been willing to listen to me and has been honest as to the hurdles that need to be accomplished in order for this to happen. As of about ten minutes ago, I have given her the landing time for Furman's team and fans. At first she thought they would be able to have a car out at the airport that could do this. When I called with the arrival, she mentioned to me that she needs to visit with the sheriff and/or the undersheriff to make sure that there isn't a safety concern for the citizens of Gallatin County. She mentioned that in her 17/18 years of service with the department, this has never been done! So, she wants to make sure it's not going to cause an uproar. I think this is good thinking on her part to cover her bases before proceeding. If this goes through all right, there should be a car out there tomorrow morning to escort them into town (providing there are not any emergencies taking place at the time).

2) From motel to airport tomorrow - I also spoke with a gal at the university who is in charge of Saturday's game activities (for the life of me I can't remember her name and I didn't write it down). She is taking care of this part through the University police and should be done.

So, again, thank you to Lt. Robinson from the sheriff's department, the lady at MSU for her help, and Dan Davies at MSU for giving me Furman's arrival timeline.

I just spoke with MSU PD and they said things appear to be in order for an escort from hotel to field on Saturday, they just have to clear a few hurdles, but all is looking well!

Great work folks! We should start a company...BobcatNation Marketing!!

On a side note, not a lot of marquees on main street have anything up. If anyone knows the owners of McDonald's, Wendy's, the Roundhouse, etc. please give them a call. I know most of the fast food employees will be upset we aren't supporting their school UM(I know smack is that way.). :D

Let's paint this town Blue and Gold!

Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and I will see you on Saturday!

Man, I should have asked them to paint their windows! I will when I email the rest of the people.
Leaf and Bean said yes, and thanks for the email
A car company which will go unnamed at this point wanted to know if I wanted to buy a car. Really, guys!

Well, it never hurts to ask ... that's what they get paid to do.

As long as they blue and gold up their place, it's all good.

Just drove by Bozeman Audi, very nice looking with all the cat logos and helmets in the show room displays.

I got the call about 4:00 with the final decision from the sheriff's office. Due to a shortage of personnel, they are unable to provide escort for this event. :( :(

But, I guess at least we accomplished half of the goal.

Great job all involved with this.

Would the Highway Patrol be an option to escort them from the airport?

Yes, that's what I was told. Does anyone know someone there? I don't or I'd call.

They escort Bobby Hauck. This seems more relevant!
