AMAZING, I was eating breakfast this morning with some of the players and their phones started ringing and big smiles started to appear on their faces. GO CATS!

This is the greatest (craziest) thing I have ever heard. We are in and we are hosting!!! That is some great karma. Sell out that stadium. Anyway they can get those boxes in by the weekend. How did we get a home game?

One would think our AD has learned quite a bit about the bid process in the last year

I guess you've lost the ability to smack UM about "buying" home playoff games, though.

Absolutely unreal. Best wishes Cats, you deserve it and it's great for the State of Montana to be hosting two games next Saturday.

A word of caution, however. Should any of those elitist, smirky faced snobs from Furman show up - treat them just like they were Griz Fans - then show 'em the cow barns!! - Face first. What a bunch of jerks they can be, judging from our 2001 experience.

Good Luck!

Tom

I think I just got a few tears welling up inside me. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! Not too often in football do you get a second chance - let's make something of it, Cats! :D :D :D

Longhorn (and other students now)-get the word out and get these students to come back to Bozeman a day early!

When I was in school at UM, student tickets were always free for regular season games, but they charged $5 each for student tix for playoff games. The reason, supposedly, was that the host school has to pay the NCAA a certain amount for the right to host a playoff game, and that makes giving away student tickets too costly a proposition.

Now, I understand that UM student tickets cost $4 for regular season games, and I'm not sure what they're doing (i.e., whether playoff games are still $4, or whether they're charging more).
