I really like the idea of not having to punt at all... good thinking! It would certainly save a little stress!

Typically, I'd pick the Bengals here because they're always tough at home, and I'm not entirely convinced that the cat offense can score enough to keep up with ISU. However, this is a must-win for MSU and they've been killer in that type of game the past 3 years.

If the new Gridiron Power Index is any indication the Cats should smoke ISU. Cats cracked the Top 25 at #22. Idaho State is at #48.

Cats' defense will be solid, but special teams continues to be an issue and sets up the opponent for another short field score. Offense has more trouble running than past weeks, but Rolovich settles down after having a game under his belt and picks apart the ISU secondary.

Bengals 19

I can eat some crow for picking against the CATS. I screwed up.

I think the Cats will have tough going in the dome. ISU is always tough at home. HOWEVER, I think the Cats offense will be able to outscore the Bengals in a high-scoring shoot-out.

CATS 41
BENGALS 38

Hint:

This may mean that the Cats lose. I understand that, but stick by my prediction.

You guys are all picking the Cats to win this weekend. Some of you are even predicting a blowout. This spells bad news for the Bobcats!

I want them to win so I predict them to lose.

Bobcats - 24
Bungholio's - 28

No superstition here.

1st half:
Cats: 17 (2 tds, 1 fg)
isu: 10 (1 td, 1 fg)

2nd half & final score (after Kramer stays away from "fixing" things at half this week):
Cats: 31 (2 more tds)
isu: 17 (1 more td due to Cat mistake - see 3 from last week)

egriz type of prediction:
Cats: 52
isu: 3

GO CATS!

Our D will continue to be strong. Special teams I would guess has been one of the main focuses in practice this week so we should be better in this area. Rolo will have even more confidence this week and due to the fact that we are on turf and on the road we will throw the ball deep and do it often.

Cats- 44

ISU- 12

We have not had a punt or kickoff return for a touchdown since Cory broke the frizzlies backs in 2003. We just may see one this week out of Austin or Lewis.

I predict snow. In a dome. Somehow...

Well, I did call this one for ISU at the beginning of the season. To be honest, both teams are doing worse than my preseason pick.

ISU-MSU Prediction

Post by Bengal1 » Fri Oct 20, 2006 11:11 am

In overtime, Bengals beat the Scats (I have to keep the theme going here of calling each other names  ), 33 to 27.

Of course most Bengals will become Cat fans during the Cat-Griz weekend!
