Re: Big Sky Awards
They don't do a LS. They give a ST which goes to special teams but I think those are usually gunner type players, kick coverage. But yeah he should have gotten recognition. Especially because it seems Bobcat stadium is a hard place to long snapvike_king wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 12:35 pmAnd Tommy Sullivan....or did I miss it?Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 11:47 amThe only miss I see from the Cats perspective is Ty McCullouch. Thought Simeon deserved 2nd team at the very worst, not even HM is the biggest snub to me. I do agree with McCullouch too though

@GoCats18 has to win the category for most knee jerk/wild takes on the first or second page of the Gameday Threads. One incomplete pass and it was time for Vigen to be fired on August 24th.AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 1:39 pmStill waiting on the Bobcat Nation awards this year.

Hall didn't get special team's player of the year because the Bobcat Offense didn't let him punt very often.

I don’t know these players well enough, but would be interested to see how many are transfers.

By my count, 6 of the 1st teamers are from Montana, including James-Newby from Idaho. That is impressive

I think there are 8. Did you include Bergen and Taco on special teams?

Only playing in the last 6 games hurt his chances but it would've at least been right for him to be listed as honorable mention.

Re: Big Sky Awards
Kind of weird that the best WR/RB group in FCS didn’t put a single player from that group on the first-team. Huh

Re: McCullouch and Woodard, There’s only so many spots and I kinda think they try to spread it out as much as possible. I don’t think coaches want to vote for too many players on one team. Just a hunch.
