From web:
WR/DB Xavier Ahrens, Curtis, sr. — Four-year starter for Vikings tallied 1,500-plus all-purpose yards and 13 total touchdowns last fall and had team-leading four interceptions on way to 4A SPSL first-team defensive back honors. Returning SBLive all-state selection has five D1 offers.

I absolutely love taking a good sized safety who maybe doesn’t have the juice to play safety at the FBS level and moving him down to LB. He has really nice size, good athleticism, and nice coverage skill for a LB. I really, really, like this pickup.

Also beat out Idaho, Colorado State (Pipal offered), and Nevada (Choate), so that feels good.

A friend of mine started his career as a safety, became an all conference linebacker and finished his career at DT. They have the weakest sounding position name but are probably the hardest nosed players on the field.
