Dude, stop pretending you are a Cat fan. I'll take Gatewood any day of the week. He is a flat-out amazing receiver. So is Kimble, and I'm not saying anything bad about him. But I am perfectly content keeping Ricky on our squad. He had something of an off-game this last weekend, but just wait. Eastern had better watch out, he is going to explode this weekend. I think Ricky will have a far better game than Kimble does.

Not saying I wouldn't take Gatewood, he is the second best WR in the Big Sky, behind Kimble, and that is looking at the statistics, Kimble has 16 more catches and almost double the yards. Kimble is more of the big play threat, not to mention the mass amount of pass interference calls Kimble gets, he would even have more yards if you considered those

Have you seen Kimble play this year yet? The man dominates, a large part can also be attributed to Meyer also, but he has another gear when the db has topped out, and even when guys are all over him he catches the ball, not to mention he gets off the jam all game, something the cat recievers have had some trouble with in the last couple weeks, even Gatewood.

Kimble has also played 3 more games, with one of those being against a Division II team. Give Ricky those first three games, and I bet he would have more catches than Kimble. I'll take Ricky continually fighting for tough first downs all the way down the field than the one huge gainer Kimble gets every game - although I would love to have both.

So what if Meyer has Kimble! Lulay has Murray, Guinn, and Miller to go to even if GREATWOOD has a below average day. I don't care what anybody says, Guinn has GREAT hands. He catches every ball that Lulay throws at him. We all know that Gatewood is the "go to" receiver, but if you look back, when the CATS need a big third down conversion, it is Guinn who gets the grabs.

Eastern has to worry about more than just Gatewood.

Eastern also has two other VERY good receivers. One leads the conference in yards/catch, and the other is very very good. Our secondary will definitely be tested.

That's why I didn't compare games, but catches, I said, KIMBLE ONLY HAS 16 MORE CATCHES YET HE HAS ALMOST TWICE THE YARDS. Gatewood probably would have more catches if he played in those games, but Kimble is still more of a vertical threat, which then opens up his stop routes that he runs so effeciently, and as wb said, Eastern also has two other stud wideouts, I watched the UM EWU game, and Kimble killed there secondary, but the total destruction came from the other two
