Other than the thread hijack...fairly tame stuff...I miss Rick James.

Now that is pushing it. Yeah, sorry for the hijack. Pretty much all the information needed was in the first two posts anyway.

What the hell happened?
He purchased me a drink this weekend at Hooligans... He sure seemed nice then. :? He tried ordering me a Captain and Coke, but I turned it down and had my favorite an apple martini.

All this talk about numbers has gotten me curious - how many student tickets are available for cat/griz?

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

when i go to the game it is usually a last minute thing when it is in missoula but i have always managed to get tickets...i go and work the tailgating section about 11:30 and i have always gotten great tickets and once i'm in i go to the cat section or the south endzone and cheer for the cats...for griz folk i am sure the same thing would work for this year's cat/griz...

i have used the same approach at the rose bowl with great results...

Students tickets aren't on sale, they are just given to students for free, and there are no extra tickets, after sending the allotted amount down to UM and order forms sent to season ticket holders, there are no extra individual cat/griz tickets left

If you get a student ticket you have to have a student Id when entering the stadium.

and technically the students do pay for the tickets, just not each indidivual ticket.

I can honestly say that they haven't made me show ID for any of the games this year. They say that when you get the ticket though.

They made me at SFA, but not NDSU or ISU.

At Cat/Giz, they are going to be wanting to get people in as quickly as possible because they are going to be flooding the gates, I would say there is less than a 10% chance they will be checking for student ID's. (The number is simply symbolic and has no scientific value whatsoever)

It looks like they're handing student tickets out today! Better get on that...

I just went down to the fieldhouse and picked up a cat/griz ticket. As long as you have a student ID w/ your picture (or someone who looks like you), you will receive a ticket. They aren't swiping the cards to make sure they're valid student IDs.
