IAA stadiums - Standard is set at Harvard. Who else can claim Michigan and Notre Dame copied them.
SEC stadiums are all nice except Vanderbilt. I went there and it is merely okay. Nyland Stadium is amazing.
The big house is very cool and Notre Dame is also good. Washington has the best setting.
By the way Middle Tennessee is a D-1 program.

Thought this was a cool picture. I don't know who took it, I think it was at the ISU game and this is the one used at msubobcats.com.

What do yo mean by when completed? Is MSU in the middle of rebuilding the stadium? You guys definately have a nice main grandstand. Just curious what else is planned.CatFamily wrote: But Bobcat Stadium, from the many that I have seen, ranks as one of the best facilities in 1-AA and when completed in 2007 will be close to the Wash$$$ton Sta$ium in Missled land.

The best looking stadium has got to be ours. I do think they need to fix the bleachers on the south end. I get a little nervous having my little kids up there. I am not all that familiar with the other stadiums in 1-AA except the Big Sky teams--some are a little like glorified high school stadiums.
I didn't see anybody mention the Rose Bowl--It is the Grand Daddy--plus UCLA always allows teachers and friends in on complimentary passes. I love free football. I also love parking on the golf course next to the stadium for a little pregame. I'm familiar with a couple of other Pac-10 teams. My Stanford experience is terrible---I sat on rickety bleachers and was drenched by about 3 inches of rain....There were more Washington fans than Cardinal fans, and it was the game Curtis Williams was paralyzed. Bad memories...Washington's stadium looks over the water and is pretty scenic, but Cal's stadium is old and in need of something. My two cents.

man that is a sweet pic of the stadium. makes me a little homesick...
I haven't been to many places, but I think Folsom Field is another great stadium. Not the biggest crowds (50k), but awesome views of the mountains. I'd post a picture, but have never down it before, so here's a linky.

My only complaint about the Big House is that they *really* cram the fans in to get their attendance up. It's great that they can seat as many people as they can, but a big part of the reason is because you're literally sitting right on top of the person next to you.El_Gato wrote:I'm sorry, but I don't think anything compares to the REAL Big House...
107,000+
One of those places on a true sports fan's "Must attend a game there" list...
That said, one of my best friends is an alum there and has season tickets, and I try to get there for a game every year. That's where I'll be this weekend, and I can't say I'm not looking forward to it.
