19Cat, I see the same thing happening in Ogden. Don't see any way the Fizzlies score that many points against ISU though.

Haven't you guys seen those meth commercials? NOT ONCE!!!

Both games will be nail-biters deep into the 4th quarter.

Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.

I just wanted to see if any of them could come up with how they could get "18". Of course the easy one is 6 fg's, but you did a pretty good scenario.

Except a blocked extra point returned to the endzone is worth two not one.

They may not win another conference game this year.

The Cats will clobber them. The NDSU showing by Weber was indicative of how pathetic they are.
Even Cat players are saying that Weber State is actually pretty legit, and need to be seriously worried about. Also, the offense looks at Weber and sees a formidable opponent

Are you sure about this? I thought the defense would score only what the offense would've scored had they been successful?

If not, my bad. Of course, it happens what, once every other season or so...?

Actually, I'm not really sure that rule is even still in effect..?

Wonder when our new sports writer (you know, the one with two Dailys on his resume now: Daily Mistakes and Daily Comical) will sit down at his computer and give us his reports off the wires?

Gato, you're correct about the Griz fans refusing to accept the fact that their team stinks this year. I'm a big Griz fan, and I am embarrased at the product which Hauck is putting on the field this year. Looks more like a typical Sac St. team than Montana. Could there be a worse offense?

These fans are gonna die a slow, miserable death this season when the losses pile up. I said that the Griz may not win another conference game this year, and I was being honest! Look at where and who they play. They get EWU, and PSU at home......both likely losses. Then, they have to play ISU, NAU, MSU, and Sac St. on the road. ISU and MSU are almost certain losses. But, NAU and Sac St. on the road will not be any cakewalks either for this Griz team.
Bobby's teams have never played well on the road.

Wolfman, as often as your brash posting style and attacks are unnecessary, I am with you on the topic of the Griz. Any team that for the most part can only muster up 7 points per game with the offense, (Ft Lewis does not count), will have a difficult time winning games. This week is a huge week for the Griz, because I can see them losing every game they have left.

Corn bread,
I hope they are preparing that way. But, this is a lot of times a tool utilized by players and coaches to try and not overlook a team they, behind closed doors, feel they can out man.
One way or the other, let's bring it 'Cats :!: :!: :!:

I think the MSU/WSU game will come down to over/under on WSU dropped passes and interceptions. If WSU receivers drop less than 4 passes, and have less than 3 interceptions I think WSU will pull off the upset, 31-28. If it is over these numbers MSU wins big, 44-17.

Bobby's teams have never played well on the road.
He's 5-6 on the road since he's been here. Throw out the game against JMU in Chatty last year and the Oregon game this year and he's 5-4. Kramer in that same time is 5-9. Throw out the 1 playoff road loss to N. Iowa and the 3 I-A losses and he's 5-5. .500 is not good on the road?

Hell no, .500 is not good on the road! Not when you're a team used to playing for the NC most of the time. Do you think that USU, Miami, or Texas would consider a .500 road record acceptible?

Well, Montana USED TO BE the Usu, Miami, Texas of IAA football, until Bobby Hauck was hired to put the program into mediocrity.

Believing weber sucks won't make it so. They aren't as good as ISU, and really probably don't match up well against the cats, but they are a pretty decent team. I'd say their NDSU blowout was similar to the Cat/Cal Poly blowout. It's not as if Cal Poly is really that much better than the cats, and NDSU isn't that much better than Weber. But Weber vs. NDSU was a terrible match up.
Weber's LB's are not very good, and easily their weak link on D. Weber has a Dline that is a notch below ISU's, and a secondary that is as good as ISU's, and pretty good really.
Offensively Weber has 3 dangerous WR, and 2 pretty good RB's. I was pretty impressed with their #1 guy's combination of quicks/decent power/and effort. He's a nice looking RB, but not great.
Weber's Oline is pretty good, and their QB is pretty good. However, they are screwed if you stop their run. Without the run to setup the pass, they have trouble. If they get behind, knowing this, they are in trouble.
But they could knock off a team like ISU, I think. I think they could give the cats a pretty good game.
The cat players are right not to overlook them, like cat fans are. And I'm damn sure Kramer can see they are not a team to over look.
So that being said, yes, I think the cats are too much for Weber, and probably should beat them pretty good. But it isn't a given.
