I know it wouldn't be accurate but they should have labeled midfield as 41 instead of 40.

Leon said he's coming out with an updated facility plan. The top priority for facilities is adding capacity and the east grandstand area. He said that concessions, restrooms and other amenities are in with that. (see Colter's video)

Sweet! Sounds like the facilities master plan is going to create some excitement!

Any clue what it cost to inflate our indoor practice facility today? The edifice, looked especially full.

Anybody know when the facility officially opens?
I have heard so many different dates from MSU on both the start of the indoor construction and the completion date of the indoor that I don't believe any predictions that they put out on that stuff anymore. Until there is an announcement of an actually grand opening ceremony, I just consider the indoor still under construction. The same goes for the new facilities plan announcement. I heard they were going to announce something on a new facilities plan in July, but tomorrow is that last day that can happen, sooooo......I'll wait until they actually put out the plan.
They don't technically need to open it before Gold Rush (for PR purposes) unless there's a wildfire smoke issue though, right? The sooner the better but I would think it wouldn't really make any difference at this point.
Leon said goal is to be open when student athletes are officially back so they can use it right away

If this is the Kennedy-Stark building
Stark is Rob Stark
Rob Stark was the king of the North
The Starks lived in Winterfell
We should nickname this place Winterfell!

I would bet that you could show the guys the facility for a few hours and still not officially open it.

So you're going with a complete fantasy theme?

When they need it for football it's going to be a godsend. It may only be for a couple days but as you know the weather in Bozeman can turn brutal with either massive snowfall or low temps. I don't know that it averages much more than most cities in Nov/Dec but as everyone knows that has spent a winter there it can snow a foot or two out of nowhere.

The most obvious example was the 2022 game at SDSU. I think it was Vigen who mentioned this yesterday. He said MSU had limited practice on frozen ground and turf, while SDSU was indoors all week. Some teams even come into Bozeman better prepared simple because the conditions were nice all week where they're from, while they were miserable in Bozeman. Many BSC teams and playoff opponents are from climates with milder weather.

Someone mentioned how much better the circulation in the new facility is than it was in the tennis bubble they were using last year. A lot of pluses.

I am not sure the cost to inflate it, but I think there is a screw missing as you can hear the air escaping through the tiny hole clear over in Mizzoula.

Also- how many years have the summer fires/smoke been so bad that they can’t even practice outside. This place will be a game changer.

Leon mentioned a refresh of the facilities plan is coming this fall...hinted at the priorities...a lot has been checked off all ready with the BAC and Indoor...what do you think is next? I'd guess east grandstand upgrade and north end zone......Fieldhouse renovation is probably #3 on the list. Thoughts?
