Almost inexcusable if he isn’t, with the family history and his size/speed.

I believe his dad played for the Cats. Could be wrong. Hope comes here

He had a nice game last night on a slippery, icy field. Had a TD run and a long kickoff return.

Talon Marsh was a monster. There were a couple series where he just took over.

Tom's dad played for Wyoming. Sisters run track for MSU.

Tom Carter? I thought his dad was Lee Carter, the MSU linebacker from the early 90s, is that incorrect?

Brain fart. Yes his dad Lee coaches for Capital and played LB for MSU in the 90s. If offer is equal or better to the Griz, we should land him.

Tom can play RB, WR, CB, or S. Same as Jones but the versatility means should be room for both. Tom got more accolades as a safety his junior season but this year he just exploded on offense.

Do you think Patrick has quickness to be QB if system stays what we are running right now.

He's not Tommy Mellott fast, but he's got some game speed. I think I saw his 40 time isn't great, and honestly I think that's because he's not a track kid. I think he's athletic enough and shows speed on the field, but he's not a burner. I personally think he's a linebacker.

I know nothing about Duchien, so this is a response more about the offensive system.

I don’t believe a QB in this offense needs to have great speed, or even great running ability, IF they’re able to pass the ball. As long as they’re semi-mobile (able to take a few read options to keep the defense honest), can make good decisions, and can pass the ball, they can play. In all honesty, Matt McKay should have been an ideal fit for the offense. In fact, for a bit he played quite well. All that to say, I think the offense is very adaptable for whatever kind of QB you have.

Thanks. It just seems to click with the QB having the ability to house it any pay. Add the speed and power we have at RB it's been lethal. Makes sense this that if we can throw consistently from it, also opens things up
