Brain fart. Yes his dad Lee coaches for Capital and played LB for MSU in the 90s. If offer is equal or better to the Griz, we should land him.91catAlum wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 1:39 pmTom Carter? Talon Marsh was a monster. There were a couple series where he just took over.

What position does Tom project to in college? Just curious if the Cats will match the griz offer if its RB, since Adam Jones already committed here.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 2:06 pmBrain fart. Tom can play RB, WR, CB, or S. Same as Jones but the versatility means should be room for both. Tom got more accolades as a safety his junior season but this year he just exploded on offense.91catAlum wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 2:10 pmWhat position does Tom project to in college? Hunter is also a really good power forward in basketball. MSU may be looking at developing him into a 3-tech.

Full tuition scholarship. So he's a partial kid who will start off paying for room/board/books.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 11:45 amGot a full scholarship per Flores. Always fun to get a big tough kid from far eastern Montana.

Watching the AA chipper on the nhs app. Long TD run by Tom Carter, Luke Smith and Hayden Opitz both showing their athleticism at TE. Lots of talent on the field.

If Tom Carter and Luke Smith commit to the Cats, with this class, we will absolutely have dominated the in State recruiting.

I’m really interested to see how the next few weeks go for some of these kids left that haven’t committed and what they decide.blueandgoldblitz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:50 pmAdd in Patrick Duchien and I agree with you completely

Got the QB and LT of the 2x Class B Champion Florence-Carlton. Jon projects as a tackle due to his size and length while Patrick could develop at QB but also be developed as a possession receiver or LB/S.

Do you think Patrick has quickness to be QB if system stays what we are running right now.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 9:52 amhttps://twitter.com/jonathanluh/status/ ... VxsNXdymrQ

Re: Montana Recruits 2023
He's not Tommy Mellott fast, but he's got some game speed. I think I saw his 40 time isn't great, and honestly I think that's because he's not a track kid. I think he's athletic enough and shows speed on the field, but he's not a burner. I personally think he's a linebacker.tetoncat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 1:12 pmDo you think Patrick has quickness to be QB if system stays what we are running right now.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 9:52 amhttps://twitter.com/jonathanluh/status/ ... I know nothing about Duchien, so this is a response more about the offensive system.tetoncat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 1:12 pmDo you think Patrick has quickness to be QB if system stays what we are running right now.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 9:52 amhttps://twitter.com/jonathanluh/status/ ... I don’t believe a QB in this offense needs to have great speed, or even great running ability, IF they’re able to pass the ball. As long as they’re semi-mobile (able to take a few read options to keep the defense honest), can make good decisions, and can pass the ball, they can play. In all honesty, Matt McKay should have been an ideal fit for the offense. In fact, for a bit he played quite well. All that to say, I think the offense is very adaptable for whatever kind of QB you have.

Re: Montana Recruits 2023
Thanks. It just seems to click with the QB having the ability to house it any pay. Add the speed and power we have at RB it's been lethal. Makes sense this that if we can throw consistently from it, also opens things upBelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 2:22 pmI know nothing about Duchien, so this is a response more about the offensive system.tetoncat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 1:12 pmDo you think Patrick has quickness to be QB if system stays what we are running right now.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 9:52 amhttps://twitter.com/jonathanluh/status/ ...
