He is 5-10. Same number of INTs for 6 as TDs. Has 60 yards 50 from one pass so the other 4 gained 10 yards. Pretty bad passing for a half.

Cookus is 13-24 and NAU is 1-8 on 3rd down. The one thing killing us defensively is giving up big run plays. If that stops we have a chance to come back and win this game.

I like the idea of having him pass, but not with 20 secs left in the half, do it when no one expects a trick play.

I disagree on Rovig. A couple overthrows on deep balls called in bad situations but otherwise he has been ok. That TD pass to Steele was perfect.

Its a hallmark of this coaching staff. Play an embarrassingly bad first half, spot the other team a bunch of points, and hope you can make it up in the 2nd. 3 really bad 1st halfs so far this year (plus the last 4 games last year).

Yes, this is an interesting pattern with Coach Choate teams...they seem to only play after adjustments at half. It's a head scratcher, but whatever he says to the team at half he needs to start saying BEFORE they take the field!
