I am sure it will be an added buzz at tomorrows game. The game itself will be big enough but this just adds more excitement to the program.

I say they save the info for that time in the game where we go a little flat...maybe up big and beginning to let them back in type thing....then we make the announcement...the crowd goes apes**t and the players, rejuvenated, regain control of the game.

Yeah, maybe make it a half time announcement or something like that. Then again at half time there might not be too many people that hear it. :suds:

What exactly would they be announcing? I assume that most people are at least vaguely aware by now that there are plans in the works to upgrade the facilities...you can't exactly go into specifics during a time out at a football game.

Good point...I guess I wouldn't mind hearing all kinds of details about our shiny new indoor practice facility while Weber is lining up for a 3rd down play. :D

Ok, I might have heard some insider information. If I told who I heard it from, you might laugh and then I would have to do something very bad.

Anyway, I heard the plan is for a $5 million dollar expanse to bowl in the north end and and to add sky boxes on the student side. I am guessing, but I think the students would be moved to the new end zone to make way for more revenue on the old/student side. Not sure how much this would add to stadium to the seating capacity.

I also heard the Missoula is about ready to anounce a new 4,000 seat expansion. Football is growing in Montana!! you got to love it.

So they are bowling in the Pepsi Zone section or are they bowling in the open endzone. Aren't they more like East and West? Either way I am glad they are doing something but when are they doing it. Our last home game is this weekend. Unless we host a playoff game. Nothing starting this soon I assume.

If an indoor practice facility would cost $16M (rumored earlier in this thread), then how could they bowl in an end zone AND construct new luxury boxes at the football stadium for less than 1/3 of that? The $5M number seems very low to me...or maybe the IDP number is just too high. Anyone remember off hand how much the last stadium renovation cost?

I sure hope they have some big plans. I'm shocked, however, that this has been kept pretty quiet. If they are in the advanced stages of planning to the point of having financial estimates, there must be architect, engineer, and construction firms involved. I cannot believe there isn't more buzz about this and that everyone has kept so quiet among those who are involved.

I would think replacing those rickety old bleachers in the end zone (can't remember which direction) would be a priority. I was there in 2003, and I can honestly say it is the only time I have been worried by the quality of bleachers I stood on.

So im just curious.....why would we laugh if we heard who gave you this information? If its inside information would it not be credible.

Can't wait for the press conference and hope that it is credible information on the stadium. I want to hear something positive so bad it is invading my dreams.
