Biggest Game of the Year (ISU version)

Post by 94VegasCat » Sun Oct 15, 2006 2:28 pm

Is this the biggest suprise of the season? I thought for sure that ISU would be giving people fits. I am confident that our athletes will be superior, but we better be ready to play. This game will be our biggest game to date.

Every week is now equally important! If we want to go to the playoffs we we must win out. Unless the griz fall off and lose a few conference games.

This week could be a trap game. I would imagine that ISU is extremely frustrated with their season to date, and would love to take out some of that frustration on MSU and knock us out of the race. ISU also has a very high flying offense, especially on the carpet at Holt Arena. I'd also like to mention that this one will be a dogfight, as the last four have been. (I'll repeat those scores at the end of the post.) This game could be similar to the one the Cats played at NAU, high flying and high scoring, but will be another close match between these two old rivals.

Here are the last four against the Bengals.

2005-MSU 30-28 in Bozeman
2004-MSU 17-13 in Pocatello (Cats came back from down 13-3)
2003-ISU 23-17 in Bozeman
2002-ISU 18-14 in Pocatello (ISU comes back from down 14-0, disputed call as clock expires in end zone may have cost MSU a win)

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan! :) =D^ \:D/

HUGE GAME ... no ifs ands or buts. If we can get a win this game I'm seeing a SHOWDOWN with the Grizzlies for the AUTO BID into the playoffs.

Players, if you need any hint of bulletin board material just take a look at the Billings Gazette article below: You can get your shot at GRIZ and KNOCK THEM OFF if you take care of business this week.

LEAVE NOTHING ON THE TABLE THIS WEEK. GO GET EM! We want the showdown on Nov 19th!
