I was really hoping to see the cat offensive line take control of the game yesterday in the second half. But, what an awesome surprise to see them opening such holes for Mason in the first quarter. I really feel they dominated yesterday the whole game. I don't recall a single holding call and I think there was 2 or 3 false starts (always room for improvement).
At one point I watched PSU's nose tackle (Niusulu the huge) get blocked 10 yards backwards off of the ball; it was so sweet.
I think the O line's play the last two weeks is definitely a factor in the resurgence as a team.
Great job big guys!!!!!

We really ran a lot of time off the clock in the 4th quarter and that all stemmed from the O-Line controlling the line of scrimmage.

Great job big guys!!!!! =D^ =D^ =D^
I think they did a great job of isolating guys and making sure to seal the backers which was huge for giving Mason some time. I also liked seeing our little friend Tyler #84 for PSU who gave us the double birds only get 2 assisted tackles and hardly any mud on his jersey (except for the back because he was flattened all the time)...GO CATS!!!
Once an Eagle...now a Bobcat...at least I was never a Grizzly.

I was very impressed with the cat OL. I had thought they were supposed to be good this year, but they have been mediocre in almost every respect untill the PSU game.
What I saw in the PSU game was a unit that got the job done. They not only drove PSU's DL back, but they held their blocks well. I didn't think the cats would be able to run on PSU, and thought that would be their downfall. Boy was I wrong. That OL made the O work.
The D won the game, but the OL was what kept the O going.

Jensen getting over his knee helps, and I dont think it is any coincidence that once Elliott Barnhart got back with that group it turned into a great cohesive unit. With Elliott and Bostick out there together, we are tough!!! There isnt anyone in the conference who can put 2 quality TEs out there like those two.

I have to believe the heart of Mason running behind this line, has given them some confidence as well. Mason has great vision, and allows the plays to develop, and the holes to open up. Once the play develops he does a great job of reading his linemen and following the play. We seem to be firing on all cylinders, and have some depth/experience.
Play tough on the road, and hurry home. I can't wait to get behind this team again with WSU...(if I have my voice back by then).
