Time to Start Thinking About Sac State

Post by Cledus » Sun Oct 08, 2006 10:56 am

Two years ago after Mole put up 200+ on the Cats, Kramer swore (the next Monday at the Billings lunch) he'd never again lose to Sac State.

Just wanted to throw that out there since Sac seems to be off to a decent start.

As we all know, the cats love to play great against tough opponents... And play like crap against the teams we are supposed to beat, at least thats what they have done over the past few years. Anyway, just wanted to say, lets break that trend! The cats need to look at every game like its cat/griz, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont look past Sac State- Go in there and kick some ASS!!!!

Sac State has to be a pretty good team. They got killed in Missoula but they almost beat Cal Poly. The cats will have to play good to beat them. I think the cats would have won the conference outright if they would have beaten them in Sacramento last time.

I have yet to see the cats play but judging from that last game they have to be good. I will not be making any predictions. I am 0-6 this year and I do not want to jinx them by predicting them to win. I think most people would starve to death if they had to make their living predicting big sky games in Vegas, except for fiz games at home.

It sounds like the offense and defensive lines handled PSU which is great news because the PSU lines in my opinion looked bigger and stronger than the fiz. Hopefully the cat/griz match up will look similar to last year.

Great win Cats, nice job coaching staff. Every week is tough in the big sky conference; I hope they can keep it going. It looks like the players are getting healthy.

I love the spin over on egriz. Before the game they were saying how PSU was going to run the score up and after the game they were saying that they softened them up for us.

Unless it's changed since last year, it's grass.

Let me put it to you this way. If you guys are back on track, and you don't look past them... that's all the ready you need to be.

It's still grass. Sac should be favored in this one, my guess is Sac -1

Anyone have any early insight on who among the walking wounded we should get back this weekend?

Personally, Groves and Mason both healthy is scary. In a real good way...

Hey big fella
Here are a couple quick examples from efriz
Good luck to the PSU Vikings this week-end in Bozo. Run it up on them baby!!
Typical Big Sky.....everyone's season is centered around beating the griz.....after that bubble burst....it's "phone it in" time.

I swear. Who the Hell is this team on the field int he PSU uni's.
Smith look horrible and Ali has had 1 good run. Portland looks like lil girls today. Did we take that much out of them last week?

No he isn't. I was at the Griz/Sacto game. The QB throws the ball into coverage repeatedly. They had a running back who was OK, and a receiver as well, but the average QB never had time.

If the Bobcats can get pressure on him, this game is over.
