What is up with him? Thought his career was over. He was suited up... knee brace and all. Anyone know the scoop?

Interesting. I thought so too. He tore his Labrum (Labrum: In medicine, a ring of fibrocartilage (fibrous cartilage) around the edge of the articular (joint) surface of a bone. The term labrum is used in anatomy to designate a lip, edge, or brim. Plural: labra. )

Which led to the announcement that his career was done and moving on to his life outside of athletics.

Kris Atteberry and Dan Davies were saying on the pregame radio broadcast this will be his last ever game in uniform. They said the coaches let him suit up so that he could help do the toss before the game with the captains.

Cool - thanks for the info. Was hoping he was making a comeback... he looked like a beast! I guess the brace is an all-the-time thing...

I saw him out there with the other captains before each half. Although he didn't ever get his just due on the field for us, I still think he was a very talented player, and he coulda been a monster in this conference.

I hope his connections to the team remain strong and that he does well in whatever he chooses to do in life.
