Ha ha, yep! Very rare to meet someone that doesn't prefer a Caesar to a Bloody Mary, once they try one and realize the difference between Clamato and Tomato. There are only a few out there and we just found one!

Re: Game Day Traditions
It is called Kirkland Vintage Ale, comes packed in a nice box, 22 oz I believe. A few I have had, the bourbon/whiskey over powered the Stout. The Kirkland is more balanced.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 3:52 pmThanks. I've seen the Kirkland beer but never pulled the trigger. I might have to give it a shot.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 3:34 pmIt's made by Deschutes just like the Helles Lager Costco has. Its no Hunahpu's or Abraxas but for what it is, it's not bad. I think the 2024 version was better than the new one.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 3:16 pmIs this a real beer? If so, how is it?RickRund wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 2:58 pmWith you there on the beers. I have a couple of Kirkland Barrel Aged in the fridge waiting for Saturday. Actually I can do one per day…Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 10:38 amA well made Caesar on a football Saturday or Sunday is an absolute delight and a culinary experience. You are probably a Mich ultra drinker aren't you?
My one tradition is on Cat/Griz morning I drink something big, and dark like a coffee stout or a bourbon barrel aged beer. It usually goes well with the weather those days.
The Lager is one of the best deals in beer. A GABF winning beer in a 12 pack for $13 is killer.
I think I have had the Abraham’s, sounds familiar but the Hunahpu’s I have never heard of.
A few years back at Jack and Dan’s for a watch party I saw an ad for a whiskey barrel out of missoula, Old Rasputin (or something like that). On the way back home we stopped at Total Wines and found it. Only bought one and am glad that was all. It was disgusting and I poured most of it down the drain…
