I know this has been discussed before, but Cal playing Virginia Tech tonight in a conference game is just crazy. Imagine the Cats having to play a conference game on a Friday night against a team in Georgia or Florida.
I saw this helmet went for $1900. Crazy. I think we may never see jerseys and helmets being put up for sale for fairly reasonable prices again. Just a few years back, I could pick up an MSU jersey for $20 at the Blue and Gold auction. Jerseys prices jumped from $50 (it might have been $100) at the last garage sale to $150 at this years garage sale. I purchased an MSU helmet just last year for a couple hundred dollars. I guess with MSU football being more popular than it ever has been, this is to be expected. I won’t be purchasing many more jerseys to give back to the players though. Looks like that ship has sailed. Oh well. With prices like these, I may have to put my Bobcat collection up for auction and retire to Hawaii.
I've seen recruits post the incorrect names of the universities (University of Montana State) recruiting them, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a recruit accidentally give credit for an offer to a parody account before.
All is not well in Sac town. I’ve been saying this for awhile. They are going to have really hard time scheduling games next year without being in a conference. Looks like people are starting to call out that presidents BS.

Dumpster fire of a school in a dumpster fire of a state. Fitting, really...
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Perhaps Dr. Wood and Sac State can schedule their remaining nine games against that Lincoln University team from Oakland that goes all over the country getting their asses kicked by FCS opponents. So far this season they've lost by scores of 55-6, 60-12, 34-8, 90-0 (Idaho State), 42-0, 49-0, and 38-0. That could be perfect for the Hornets after their coach bails after one season and takes all their decent players with him to wherever he goes next. Also saves on travel costs for Lincoln as they just need to take the short bus ride up I-80 every weekend.
