Good win but not where we need to be at this point of the season. OC play calling doesn't seem to be getting much better, overall. More consistency needed. D is staying solid.
In my humble opinion, if Cal Poly could figure out their quarterback situation and stop rotating or get steady production from Dieffenbach, they are a playoff team.

Based on watching them intently the last four weeks, to me, Cal Poly is one of the five best teams in the Big Sky. I think Cal Poly is better than Sac State, Idaho, and Northern Arizona.

Not sure if that influences the way people think about this win....
D’Amato is a stud. Was surprised at how big he looked on TV.
D'Amato is a stud....... But he sure did some dick moves and the cat platers definitely responded to it. He probably had a little extra energy because he left msu.
I know this won’t be a popular opinion, but I’ve always kinda liked the LB’s that play with that extra edge.
It’s popular with me. He didn’t do anything over the line dirty. Enough just to piss ya off. Well done. If he was wearing blue and gold, everyone would eat it up.
So you must have really liked Connor Strahm, then? :-k

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Rewatched the game and he did the ol' "ball drag" move several times while getting off of the player he tackled. However, thought our players responded correctly.

Also, Dane Steel may want to get in a fight every time he runs down on special teams. Every time there is a late scuffle it's always Steel being held back.

Nope. He was way further over the line IMO

If that’s the case (D’Amato), then that’ll sway my opinion to more of the Connor Strahm comparison.

If you get a chance to rewatch the game and pay attention to #44, you'll see it. Not as bad as Strahm, but closer to that than say Brayden Konkol. He had a nasty/mean streak, but I don't think he was ever dirty...
