Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

I hear the fringe benefits in Prague are A1 prime choice.

Came across this photo from 2015. Still remember this hit. Think it’s still on YouTube.

Remember when Bignell absolute drilled Dallas Goedert when Goedert? I tried to find a pic/video of it but couldn't after Goedert popped off on a podcast telling utter lies about the lack of quality of player in the FCS. He told this made up story about how he used to go against DBs from Indiana State that were 5-7, 130 pounds and ran 4.8 40s or some BS haha. I want to find that and pin Goedert on twitter because Mac rocked his world....

Maybe this is already in the media guide but I'm wondering what families have had the most Cat football players?

A photo with Brott and Eiden IV in it got me thinking about this. I think the Brott brothers have to be among the most in terms of brothers with three. Eiden IV and Eiden III are one set of a lot of father-son combos. The Bignell's have to be among the most from one family with five, including Joe, his nephews Brian and Clay, and sons Nate and Mac. I seem to recall another son was here for a while. ???

What are some others? And if you know their accomplishments include that also. See if we can compile a list.

Just a couple of Helena connections I can think of off the top of my head...

Jim Tuss/Jeff Tuss (Father/son) - Jim was part of the 1964 Camelia Bowl team that is in the MSU Hall of Fame. Jim went on to be a successful coach for Capital High, winning state championships in 1987 and 1993. Jeff was drafted by the Montreal Expos and played 4 years in the minors before coming back to Montana State to play QB - interesting fact... in December 1992, Jeff's agent announced his intent to play football at Fresno State. The Angels, not knowing, traded for him in January 1993.

Rob Pouliot (84-88)/Mike Pouliot (87-92) (brothers) - Rob holds the record for longest interception return for TD of 100 yards in 1988 against Boise State.

I believe four Kimball brothers (Doug, Bob, Brad, and Scott) all played for the Bobcats (maybe one of those was a cousin.)

Every time a fan from a Big Sky school complains about Leon being in this role and that their team got hosed in seeding while the Cats got a benefit, they owe me a dollar. Rules are rules.

In future news, I'm excited to retire as a billionaire by Monday, November 24, 2025. 8)
