I am pretty sure he had some family ties to Carrol as well. Maybe mom or older brother?
His cousin went there a few years ago. I am unaware of any other family connections

That's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing him play against BSC talent someday. He reminded me of Cooper Kupp in some ways.

Bummer to lose Jaxan, but certainly understandable. I’ve always had the impression that basketball is where he’d end up and was surprised when he committed to football. Especially when his buddy Tevin Wetzel committed. Those two have some great synergy together.
