Don’t forget in April the portal is open again for a short time. So, depending on how the Feb signing period goes and whatever else happens between now and April, you could see a QB realize that it’s a better option to look somewhere else.

Next year our starting QB will go against Oregon in the first game. That is a tough way for our brand new QB to break into the schedule. A guy can gain or lose a lot of confidence in such a game. However, I'm reminded of Bo Nix's first game after he transferred to Oregon. He got shellacked 49-0 by Georgia. At the time I thought he might be done. Boy was I ever wrong.
