Re: Cats @ Eastern Washington Predictions
Should be at least that considering how close Cheney is. There's been around 1,500-2,000 at most road games. I try to be conservative with estimating road fans because it's the most inflated number in sports. I think in Albuquerque some were saying 2,000, but it was more like 1,000 from what I could tell. Hard to say.
Holt Arena has a capacity of 12,000 and it looked like MSU fans took up about 1/6 (1/3rd on one side) at that game. Hillsboro holds 7,600 and it looked like MSU fans had about 1/4 to 1/3 there. Cat fans still need to bump it up a notch to catch UM on the travel.

Seriously, I think UM's road crew has come down a bit. They used to have a huge road following though. I think around 4-5 thousand. I think it's more like 2,500 to 3,000 now.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Totally agree Tom, especially about the inflating part. One of my Griz fan buddies tried to tell me there were 4,000 Griz fans at Northern Colorado. Uh..... nope.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 7:44 amShould be at least that considering how close Cheney is. There's been around 1,500-2,000 at most road games. Re: Cats @ Eastern Washington Predictions
At ISU MSU fans pretty much filled two sections and spilled over into a 3rd. A quick count of seats and rows shows each section holds about 665 people. So I'd guess there were upwards of about 1500 Bobcat fans there. Listed attendance was 6,894.catatac wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 10:50 amTotally agree Tom, especially about the inflating part. I've been to a game at Northern Colorado and I watched some of the griz game last week. They filled up the same sections MSU fans did with about the same number of people and it certainly wasn't 4,000 of them.
