Marcus Wehr Draft Scouting Report
I did not realize Marcus came to us as a defensive lineman. Thought this was a good article worth sharing.

Re: Marcus Wehr Draft Scouting Report
Could be a late 3rd-day pick barring injury.
If not, he will definitely be signed as a UDFA by someone and can then get a chance to impress in the spring mini-camp.
Relatedly, I don’t see Sebastian Valdez mocked as a draft pick as of yet on any site.

Valdez is doing well. One sack and 2.5 tfl. He is even around the top in tackles for UW. Despite that I don’t think he’s going to improve his draft stock at all. Washington is struggling relative to last year.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Did Seabass go to UW to make money now or to improve his draft stock? With no personal knowledge of his decision, I’d think Troy Anderson has shown that if you’re able, scouts will find you. I’d also guess UW provided an opportunity to put some serious cash in the bank sooner than later.

I had this same question myself last night94VegasCat wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:17 amDid Seabass go to UW to make money now or to improve his draft stock? Guessing I would say
1st Money
2nd draft stock

UDub has a much larger alumni network than MSU, too. Even more so in Southern California, which is where he’s from.sdsyvie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:19 amI had this same question myself last night94VegasCat wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:17 amDid Seabass go to UW to make money now or to improve his draft stock? I always thought it was about $$$, not draft stock.sdsyvie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:19 amI had this same question myself last night94VegasCat wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:17 amDid Seabass go to UW to make money now or to improve his draft stock? He had a TFL in a win over Michigan yesterday. That’s pretty big time. The Butcher wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 9:05 amI always thought it was about $$$, not draft stock.sdsyvie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:19 amI had this same question myself last night94VegasCat wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:17 amDid Seabass go to UW to make money now or to improve his draft stock? Is this thread about Marcus or Sebastian?
I think Marcus should be back out at tackle. Being inside seems to limit his lateral agility which I feel is his best trait.

Normally I'd agree, but Fleischmann has been one of the best tackles in the country this year.

And Marcus doesn't lose that lateral agility playing inside. If anything it makes him even tough because he can reach interior lineman or dominate at the 2nd level. The one I low-key want back inside is Conner Moore but Jefferson is hurt now and JT Reed is starting to find his sea legs again. Still don't know what to think of Burke. I feel like he's still a year away physically.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 6:54 pmNormally I'd agree, but Fleischmann has been one of the best tackles in the country this year.

I agree on Moore. Does Reed sit? I thought Burke struggled yesterday early on. I think it was telling he was still in the game late, and was the last "starter" to come out.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 8:05 pmAnd Marcus doesn't lose that lateral agility playing inside. I think Jefferson was sick not injured.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 8:05 pmAnd Marcus doesn't lose that lateral agility playing inside.
