FCS Games 10/5

Post by Rich K » Sat Oct 05, 2024 12:12 pm

So far today nothing has kindled any interest yet.
At 1 pm several games draw my interest, including
NDSU hosting UND
SDSU @ Northern Iowa

Last night New Hampshire lost to Harvard. I did watch that one, and am convinced that the CAA has dropped even further in performance than I had expected. They looked more like Patriot or NEC team. CAA Albany playing Cornell right now and in what looks like an evenly matched contest.

I haven't payed much attention today but last night's game sure seemed to feature announcers trying to convince the audience that the Ivy League produced "championship level" teams. That's what I noticed.

Also we'll find out if dUMb and Idaho are really as good as the pundits claim or are over rated. I think they are both not as good as advertised.

Ditto. I think NAU is going to flop at Idaho though. They seem to always lose right after they get a good win. SDSU at No. Iowa is one I'll keep an eye on. I don't fully expect UND is going to do much at NDSU but can't rule it out.

With PSU leading Davis at half and Weebs making their game with um interesting there is more intrigue in the BSC than the rest of the FCS combined.

He has played but his stats are carp. Another QB has played also and his numbers are slightly better

He got pulled? Do you think he's hit the portal yet?

The most fascinating part of the McNeese game is that their backup QB is named Kamden Sixkiller and wears...#6.

Can a fumble be advanced by the offense?

Portland has to be really hurting in the rear end. They got completely screwed twice on the last two plays.

NDSU??? Shoot, hope they wouldn’t find their rhythm.

Not FCs but:
Alabama lost to Vanderbilt? Did they let the Alabama senator from Florida coach again? 😁

Mercyhurst rolls Buffalo State 55-0.
?????

3 teams

3 good teams in FCS. The rest suck dog poo.

See the tagline 8)

Distant relative. Something like, Kamden's grandfather was Sonny's cousin.

I think we likely need to add South Dakota to the list of good teams, although we won't really know for sure until they play SDSU at the end of the month and then NDSU in November.

Yeah, I was just looking at their schedule. MFVC is going to be an interesting race the next two months. All of the Dakota teams play each other, so if anyone makes it through unscathed, they'll likely be the top overall seed and certainly a force to be reckoned with...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

On Massey the gris only dropped 5 spots to #9 but everyone under them is probably worse
