There are a couple of those videos on Twitter, Tacos long run and Tommy's first TD run.

The play by play guy is one of the worst I’ve ever heard.
Agreed. According to him. Bryce Grebe was Big Sky Defensive player of the week last week.
I thought he was going to have a stroke trying to pronounce Danny Uluilakepa at the start of the game. I mean, the announcer is given a guide on how to pronounce the Bobcat names.
This is absolutely golden! I was literally on the floor laughing listening to this poor man trying to say Danny's last name!!!

Come at me if you want but I wasn’t impressed and this will not get it done. We must consistently be able to throw the ball game in/game out. Why we didn’t work on our timing and multiple routes is beyond me…if not now, we gonna try it later, when we absolutely need it to win a game?!?!

Some suggested our QB is limited in terms of the routes he can throw. Another poster insinuated coaches do not trust QB for certain play calls. I’m not saying that’s the case. I honestly do not know what the reason is at this point.…If there is any truth this, why not let QB work through these issues during games like this?!?!

Thought it was an OC thing, thats clearly not it. I know its not a talent thing at WR/TE and pass catching RB’s.

Same ******, different year. We’ll make a good run, think we’ll be one of final 4 teams but won’t ever win a championship until we have a true passing game to complement our absolutely dominating running game.

Tommy was like 9 for 10 passing for 140 yards in the first half…. Along with our rushing attack getting like 30 yards per carry. Ha.

Yes, the passing game needs continued improvement each week…. But this is probably not the game to single out as a disappointment. That first half (with the starters playing) was absolute domination.

I was surprised they didn’t play the starters at least 1 or 2 more series to start the second half. But it was the smart move to build depth and help avoid anymore injuries to the starters.

This team looks like a legit contender for the chipper this year. Calm down.

Mellott 150.7 passer rating. 46-67-0, 497, 4 TDs in 9 quarters. Sits third in BSC.

MSU continues to put short out patterns on film, especially to Jones (see first play of second drive). Teams now need to account for that while also staying focused on the run game. If MSU continues to be proficient at this, it should open up deeper routes. It’s such an obvious strategy, that even I can understand it.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

I think people kind of forget(not singling any one person out) the kinds of teams that win in December/January. They are built to run the ball. Sure they can pass but hardly any teams that depend on it make it past the quarters. If we can get to averaging anywhere CLOSE to 150-200 yards a game, that is more than adequate. I think you're right and come conference, you'll start seeing all those deep shots. We definitely have the guys on the outside to be a threat.

We will not be a team that throws 30 times for 300 yards.
300 rushing and 200 passing will win most games.
Different receivers and patterns seem to have been featured each game.
Sideline jump ball seems to have disappeared even though we have guys that could do it.
I would have line to see some deep shots but we scored so quickly and got what we wanted running hard to et much of that up.

I check back with you in December.
