Bobcat Collective/Bozeman Sports Cards Event (2/24)

Post by bvancleeve » Wed Feb 21, 2024 10:15 am

Hey everyone! Big news for sports fans in Bozeman – we're teaming up with the new Bozeman Sports Cards shop in the mall for a cool event. Get ready to meet players Brody Grebe, Danny Uluilakepa, and Julius Davis. They'll be signing autographs and snapping photos with fans (from 4-6pm). Plus, we'll be dropping some exclusive NIL Shop Designs featuring these athletes. Heads up, we've got a limited stock of youth sizes in the store, so make sure to swing by early to snag yours. This event is part of Bozeman's Sports Card Rip Night, so bring your gear for autographs and join the fun!

Sounds like an awesome event! Cool to see a new sports card shop opening in Bozeman, it's crazy how much that industry has changed since I was a kid who immediately took my $5 allowance each week to the Mini Mart to buy all the 50 cent packs I could carry home.

Same. Seems like the collectibles industry is booming again. We are working with a few card companies to come out with some Bobcat Player packs. Could be fun!

Ooooh, I'd put some money into that. I hadn't bought any cards since I was a kid until I recently got a Troy Andersen autographed card off of eBay, just for the fun of it.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Didn’t read the article but apparently, Oklahoma State is letting players wear their own QR code on the back of their helmets which is tied to their NIL deal. Got me thinking, what if the Bobcat Collective had their own NIL Venmo type account in which contributors could enter the name of a specific athlete they wish to donate to. It would then be distributed using the guardrails of the Bobcat Collective. Example: you are sitting at a bar or home watching the game and see someone make a big play, why not get on your phone and send them a $10.00 or so gratuity in real time ? Or, maybe NIL won’t allow that - yet. I don’t know. It’s the Wild West of NIL.
