Sam at Hero Sports had his own list same day...
https://herosports.com/fcs-football-202 ... wins-bzbz/
He put MSU's game against New Mexico as the #1 most likely upset.

Too much positive publicity in my mind!! Gives Gris fans and others material to crow about if Bobcats lose. I agree we can win but we sure have not had a very positive string of FBS games over the last 10-15 years compared to say Sac State's recent experience or NDSU or even Holy Cross! Granted, the MAC is like the absolute worst FBS conference but still an FBS win is an FBS win.

Lots of good press nonetheless.

Take a peek at the number of season tickets sold in unm and the price of tickets.
About 1m people within 1 hour drive of the game.
I'll be there cheering Bobcats!
Where are we seating? for sure not the cheep end zone tickets.

I’m sure the Lobos will have this posted in their locker room.

couple things I saw.
MWC sportswriters has them at 1.5 wins and some are taking the under. And to place last in MWC.
and this gem from their official UNM Football schedule promotions site:
UNM vs. Tennessee Tech (September 9th – 6:00pm)
Home opener – Lobo Football is back! Don’t miss your first chance to check out the team as they continue their drive to win 5. Check out the new and improved Howl Zone, and updated in-game elements!

Line opened with Cats favored by -4.5. It’s jumped to 7.5

If it’s a track meet Colorado wins all-day as they have some amazing athletes. But, since it’s football……..I expect NDSU to win.

Hmmmmm. Veddy inteddesting. Not surprised by the opening line, but I am surprised that a bunch of betters already put $$ on the Cats to move that line so much.

I've said this before but IMO this opening game is super important in terms of this Cat team ending up in Frisco. I know others will disagree, it's only one game, against FBS, etc... but it's going to be our stiffest challenge until later in the season, and if we can pull that off and start the season off in the right foot, that will be huge. Has it really been almost 20 years (2006?) since we beat an FBS team (CO)?

Already getting stoked for this one... only 42 days till this game kicks off!
