Okay, NOW, they can officially announce the IPF project is starting...
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: Old scoreboard
If this thing is going to have ads displayed on both sides, this was a complete waste. We better utilize the whole freakin screen and instant replay.

Re: Old scoreboard
Great, that'll be $100 more per season ticket to make up for the lost ad revenue.

Re: Old scoreboard
I think there’s lots of time left to dial it in and make it shine. I agree that if you move the image to 1/3 the size of the screen and leave the outside sections for ads, that is a waste of the space. But, I think there are creative ways to get the advertisers their exposure beyond just leaving the panels up all game. I trust this will get massaged a bit before Gold Rush!

Re: Old scoreboard
I think the plan was always to make it a giant billboard with a video screen in the middle.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Re: Old scoreboard
We will be visiting Livingston and Townsend in July. Will a person be able to go to the BAC, etc and go and check it all out?
Was looking forward to visiting some old friends in Livingston and Bozeman but while checking on them online found out that a great old friend in Bozeman had passed away last November. Bummer...

You can't just walk through the building for obvious reasons. However, if you donated some money toward the buildings construction, sponsored a locker, QBC member, or know someone at MSU that has access, then you can probably set up a tour.RickRund wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2024 9:50 amWe will be visiting Livingston and Townsend in July. Re: Old scoreboard
I predict we are going to see the video board display morph throughout the game. There will be full screen displays, partial screen displays, ads, stats, scores, etc. There won't be just one look to the screen like we see in the photo.

Re: Old scoreboard
You could probably risk walking into the main lobby, if the door is unlocked, and look at the helmet display and the weight room through the windows, but I wouldn't go any farther than the main staircase.RickRund wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2024 10:35 amWell shoot, figured that was probably the case.AFCAT wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2024 10:30 amYou can't just walk through the building for obvious reasons. Re: Old scoreboard
We can’t even do the jersey number count down to the start of the season without screwing it up. I will believe it when I see it…
