Pretty wild to win with no championships, and to beat NAU who won Track and XC, and finished 2nd in hoops and golf.

That it is. Good balance across the board in women's athletics.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 1:14 pmPretty wild to win with no championships, and to beat NAU who won Track and XC, and finished 2nd in hoops and golf.
The men won their side the previous two years.

Congrats ladies, what an accomplishment! The men should win again this year as well with all those 1st and 2nd place finishes in football and T&F/XC, plus respectable 5th place finishes in basketball and tennis.

and since we don't field a softball team, how does that impact the points?

It doesn't, since they base it on the average finishing position of the sports each school participates in. Not having softball or soccer just means those sports aren't factored into MSU's average score.Montanabob wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 3:25 pmand since we don't field a softball team, how does that impact the points?
